The family task & rewards app

The routine your kids want to finish.

Tasks, chores, homework: turned into a game of points, streaks, and rewards worth chasing. Built on how kids actually learn.

Sound familiar?

The nagging. The reminders. The same battle every morning.

Getting kids through the daily routine can feel like a negotiation nobody wins. TaDone flips the dynamic: instead of you chasing them, they chase the next star.

  • “Have you brushed your teeth yet?” For the third time.
  • Chores that only happen when you stand over them.
  • Rewards that spark an argument instead of ending one.

TaDone makes the routine visible, the progress rewarding, and the wins theirs to earn.

How it works

One simple loop. Repeat until it sticks.

Set it up together, then let the loop do the motivating. Every turn ends in a win, and the next one is always in sight.

  1. 01

    Build the day together

Create weekly routines and one-off tasks for each child: morning, homework, bedtime, chores. Clear, visual, and theirs to own.

  2. 02

    Catch the good stuff

Reward the moments that matter with custom actions: kindness, effort, helping out. Positive reinforcement, never punishment.

  3. 03

Trade points for what they love

Kids spend earned points on rewards you set: extra screen time, a treat, a day out. Real autonomy they can feel.

Then the best part: the celebration.

Every completed routine lands with a burst of animated emoji and a growing streak: the small, honest hit of pride that keeps them coming back tomorrow.

Backed by evidence

Built on how children actually learn.

TaDone isn't gamification for its own sake. Its core loop (clear expectations, immediate positive reinforcement, earned rewards) is the token economy, one of the most studied tools in child behavioural psychology.

These studies support the method, not this app: TaDone has not been clinically trialled. It was shaped with the clinicians at PIN (Partners in Neuroscience), a child neurodevelopment centre in Lisbon and Porto.

Token economies work

Decades of studies show token-reward systems reliably increase positive behaviours and reduce disruptive ones, including a recent digital-intervention trial with children with ADHD.

Visual routines lower stress

Visual, predictable schedules are an established evidence-based practice for autistic and ADHD children: they reduce anxiety, build independence, and ease the daily transitions.

Reward what goes right

Rewarding good behaviour works better than punishing the bad. TaDone is built to catch kids being kind, trying hard, and following through, and to make that moment feel great.

The family calendar

One calendar that brings the whole family together.

TaDone grew up. What began as a kids’ routine app became the shared calendar your family plans around: every task, event, and what’s coming up, in one place you all see. It’s the thing that turns “my job” and “your job” into ours.

Everyone on one calendar

Parents and kids share one clear picture of who does what and when, so the mental load stops living in one person’s head.

Tasks and events, together

Routines, one-off tasks, appointments, and lessons live side by side, so nothing slips and everyone can see what’s next.

The whole family at a glance

A parent dashboard rolls up every member’s routines, points, and streaks: progress to praise, without the nagging.

Made for every kind of mind

Shaped around what therapists already recommend.

TaDone was built around the strategies therapists use with neurodivergent children: clear structure, visual cues, immediate feedback, and rewards that respect autonomy. It works beautifully for every child, and families tell us that for some of theirs it is a lifeline.

  • Structure without rigidityPredictable, visual routines that reduce the friction of transitions, and flex when the day doesn’t go to plan.
  • A space that feels like theirsPlayful child themes and a calm, uncluttered kids’ view make TaDone somewhere children want to spend time.
  • Tuned to each childAdjustable difficulty and per-child routines meet each kid where they are, then grow with them.

Watch it grow

Every win, up on the board.

Streaks, trophies, and daily objectives turn steady effort into something a kid can watch stack up, and something the whole family gets to cheer.

Why we built it

It started with one little girl.

TaDone didn’t begin in a boardroom. It began at home, with paper routine charts taped to our daughter’s bedroom wall, after a premature birth and, later, a diagnosis of ADHD and autism. We turned the tablet her school required into an ally, and her days began to change.
