This cookie policy explains how TaDone uses cookies and similar technologies (such as browser local storage) across our website (tadone.app) and our app. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

We keep this deliberately simple: we do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we never sell your data.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files a website can store in your browser. “Local storage” is a similar technology that lets a site remember a small amount of information on your device. Both are used to make things work and to remember your preferences — not to track you across the web.

Cookies on this website (tadone.app)

Our marketing website is intentionally light:

• Preferences (local storage). We remember your light/dark theme choice on your device so the site looks the way you left it. This never leaves your browser and is not used for tracking.
• No analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking cookies. Fonts and assets are served by us, so browsing these pages doesn’t hand your visit to an ad network.

Cookies in the TaDone app

To sign you in and keep your family’s data secure, the app relies on a small number of strictly necessary technologies:

• Authentication (Firebase Auth, by Google). Keeps you signed in securely between visits. Without it, you couldn’t log in.
• Security & fraud prevention (Firebase App Check with Google reCAPTCHA). Helps us tell real people from bots and protect your account. reCAPTCHA may set its own cookies for this purpose.

These are essential to running the service. There is no non-essential tracking in the app.

Third parties

The only third party involved is Google (Firebase Auth, Firebase App Check, and reCAPTCHA), used for authentication and security. See Firebase Privacy and Security and Google’s Privacy Policy for how Google handles data.

Managing cookies

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, and clear local storage the same way. Please note that blocking the strictly necessary cookies used for sign-in and security will prevent the app from working properly.

We may update this cookie policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page, with the revision date at the top.
